Please help, Im having a problem with mice, no food scraps laying around, tidy house, but mice are driving me mad! What can I put on the traps to entice em.

What is the best bait for mouse trap?
We have a mouse and our cat isn't doing her job. What is the best bait for a traditional mouse trap that snaps down. We tried the sticky stuff but didn't work. I heard peanutbutter works. Gonna try the Peanutbutter tonight.
